ELSA GLORIAS
For over four years, I had the joy of capturing the warmth (and sweetness) of Elsa Glorias, a beloved cake and pastry shop from my hometown, Hermosillo, Sonora. I led everything from creative direction and photography to social media content and print materials, including labels, packaging, menus, and flyers
Working independently, often with just natural light and a camera in hand, I photographed their interiors and products across all locations. This project became a visual diary of texture, colour, and one of my most personal collaborations to date.
BERTO'S
Food photography for Berto’s, a Mexican restaurant in Winnipeg. I used hard light softened with a softbox, combined with vibrant green and yellow backgrounds to create bold, energetic images. The result is colorful, dynamic, and unapologetically imperfect, reflecting the fun and personality of the restaurant and its dishes.
OCUS
As a freelance photographer with OCUS, I create high-quality food imagery for restaurants across Winnipeg, Manitoba. These photos are produced for delivery platforms such as UberEats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash, where clarity, consistency, and appetite appeal are key.
One of the challenges (and parts I enjoy most) is creating clean, well-lit photographs that require minimal post-production, capturing the food as naturally and true to life as possible.
